What a miracle, a new life, the birth of a new baby!
This lucky baby doll is my own design and measures approximately 25 x 12 mm. It's a lovely little lucky doll for a gift, a birth announcement, or as a thank-you gift for your maternity visit or maternity nurse.
We specially designed this lucky baby because the only babies available were pink or blue. Because everyone matters to us, we really wanted to add a gender-neutral baby to our lucky doll collection. Also, not everyone knows (or wants to know) whether it's a boy or a girl. In that case, it's nice to be able to give a gender-neutral lucky doll.
We also liked the idea of swaddling the baby, a sign that a baby can feel secure, that it's a safe haven where they've arrived, because it's a small environment, just like in the womb, where they can feel calm and secure. Because the baby is wrapped in a blanket from shoulders to toes, their arms and legs can't move freely, just like they did before birth.
We also had the pleasure of making this sweet lucky doll for a maternity care company. All parents will receive this sweet lucky doll with a matching card when the maternity nurse says goodbye to her wonderful time with the newborn, siblings, and parents. The lucky doll will always be associated with the wonderful postpartum period!
